The Choppin Block Butcher Shop

Beautiful lunch in style on our road trip. We love eating local instead of chain restaurants when we travel and what a jewel. I had lunch special chopped steak with gravy, potatoes and beefs. Excellent

The food was great. The service was terrible. At 120. I was 130. There were only two more tables. At 145. The Appetizer came out quickly. Good, because at 205 the waiter came by and said he forgot to place our order. I finally got food about 230. The check was cancelled and was ready to pay at 250. 1 another table was set, but one had left. (3 tables). Not checked until 310. I'm not sure what our waiter or the other 4 people did, but it was certain that hell wasn't sitting on the THREE tables.

Beautiful small bar, good service and choice. Eating is good, so try. Happy Hour 3 to 6 in the afternoon

We had a surprise party for my husband and had a total of 24 people. The food was excellent and the waiting staff was great. We were so happy. Thanks to the Choppin Block company, it makes a great evening.

After we (4 of us) were done eating, I asked our very pleasant and attentive waitress if The Choppin Block was under new management or had new cook. She told me no on the change in management and cooks. The reason why I asked was we were at The Choppin Block about 9 or 12 months ago and our experience tonight was a 180 from the last time. The food was cooked as ordered, served at the right temperature and very tasty. Totally pleased with our experience tonight. Well done and keep it going in the right direction.
