"Krishna Vaishno Dhaba is probably the most famous vegetarian dhaba/restaurant in Srinagar.<br/ <br/ If you have been to srinagar as a tourist, then it's highly likely that you have visited this dhaba.<br/ <br/ The South Indian food served at the dhaba is below average, but North Indian food is what you should definitely order.<br/ <br/ Rajma Chawal Butter Fry is a must try! The items that I recommend are:<br/ <br/ 1. Shahi Paneer<br/ 2. Aloo Paratha<br/ 3. Masala Bhindi<br/ 4. Paneer Paratha<br/ 5. Kadhi Pakoda<br/ <br/ I also tried their chilli paneer which I did not like at all.<br/ <br/ If you make a trip to Srinagar, then you should definitely visit Krishna Vaishno Dhaba regardless you being a vegetarian or not."

"It was difficult to locate the place, ordered their key dish Alfaham chicken. Chicken was not fully cooked and felt raw. Had to rush to the ATM for withdrawing cash as swipe machine wasn't working. Dissatisfied...."

"A beautifully decorated cafe with Kashmiri elements. Well-spaced and good seating options. We just ordered a batch of fries as it was more of a cafe exploration for us and these guys had just opened up for the day, so the full menu was yet unavailable. The fries' quantity and taste were great. However, I will remember the cafe and its manager Mr. Jan for the Noon Chai (a Kashmiri speciality) they served. I have been in Kashmir for a week and have been wanting to taste this unique variety of tea but most places didn't have it. Neither did Jhelum cafe, but when I mentioned it to Mr. Jan, he made sure I have a taste of it. He sent a person to buy the tea powder and then the cafe made it for us. A big thanks to him!"
