I’m currently staying in Wheathampstead while visiting my father in his care home. I’ve eaten at Dildar 4 times already in the last week, sampling different things on the menu. I can personally recommend the Prawn Puree, Chicken Balti, Chichen Tikka Madrass (maybe a little hot for some), Chicken Tikka Nagga (also hot), and the Chef’s Special dish. I have been coming to this Indian for years and they always have lovely food. When you eat in, the staff are always friendly. However one thing I would say if you call up and order a take away the staff can get very rude when you ask to pay on card, and have a few times demanded tips at the door.
