"This is a family-run friendly, well-priced place for Sunday dinner. my friend had problems cutting the fryed beef (which was delicious and she is older! they took it away, presented a new piece and took it out of the bill. cozy chick for informal eating or more formal dining room. beautiful service"

"That is a fantastic restaurant with excellent dressing from local products. eating is as good as if not better than many Michelin star facilities. can not understand how previous review could not book a table, I have never received anything other than a courtesy reception and cordial greeting when eating in ostlers."

"Had the lovely home made soup and a pork and apple sausage roll. Delicious food and great service. Place was really busy with a constant stream of customers. Coffee and cakes lovely too. Well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend this cafe."

"When a local tells them that a place makes the best breakfast rolls, they always trust where local recomend. lorne sausage, tatti scone and haggis was a must for this narrow country to try everything on the same roll. they also add the speck and ei and oh my...I would only try the 8 hours to try it again. reasonable price, large coffee, beautiful staff and a selection of great food on the menu is this place one must."
