If you’ve never heard of B’s Diner before, welcome to the club. Located on the east side of the tracks on Whyte, you’ll easily pass their sign if you aren’t looking specifically for it. However, it is definitely worth seeking out. I was shocked/impressed that they have an actual nice, quaint little patio outside to eat and people watch. This would definitely be an awesome little spot in the summer, reminds me of Mont... View all feedback.
What Jessica C doesn't like about B's Diner:
I 've given this place a few chances, but I just can 't stop hating it with a burning passion. The food is bad, not greasy spoon bad, just plain gross. Not actually that cheap either. Pay an extra two dollars for your breakfast and go to Friends and Neighbours for something actually edible. The service is bad. It 's usually the owner who is just plain rude. People who defend this place usually say things like oh they... View all feedback.
I love it here! It's small and cozy with a great patio. The breakfast selection offers a wide variety, and hits the spot perfectly every time. The absolute best value in my opinion for breakfast in Edmonton!
Diner meets trendy (but in an understated way) cafe! Little place located on east Whyte, pretty easy to miss. Run by friendly people although service could be a bit hit-and-miss. Possibly the only place in town to get ramen burgers. The burgers are decent by themselves, but the ramen part (wok-grilled ramen patties substituting for buns) add both flavor and texture. The net result is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. Try it out an support a local business! Happy New Year !!
Great place for some home cooked meals, and they offer free and discounted meals to those in need.
B 's is a little hole-in-the-wall diner, where if you blink, you will pass it by. They do have a great patio, and all day breakfast like a proper diner should. The portions are huge, you won 't go home hungry. The food we had was decent, as was the service. (Maybe the rest of you just rubbed the poor elderly gentleman the wrong way! When we visited, the walls were pretty bare for a diner. I am used to seeing walls packed with memorabilia and pictures. Not so much here, but that 's not a bad thing. B stands for Brenda. She is the lady behind the name and the food. She has a passion for what she does and it shows. Brenda also likes to give back to her community and has the biggest heart. The Diner has a few awards posted on the wall near the till for things like Chili competitions, she seems to know her way around a kitchen! Brenda runs a place that feels homey. The chalkboards that are done up for the daily specials and the Munchies Menu give the place that extra a-la-carte kind of feel. We look forward to going back to support a small business that supports the less fortunate in their community!
