Maria is a Northern a Mexican restaurant on the Boardwalk of downtown Edmonton.The food is great. It 's a bit more flat than most Mexican restaurants so I 'm not sure if it 's because it is Northern or because perhaps it 's more authentic. I visited the restaurant with my family thinking I would find dishes with Latin flavor but I was wrong, the guacamole did not have salt, the tacos al Pastor were very seasoned and the aguachile was really flavorless and without salt, the only thing that was worth it were the quesabirrias and the Churros, I expected something better for Latin food, I was disappointed.
