Angel's Diner - St. Catharines

We went here on successive mornings and enjoyed good meals both times. The offerings, like the decor, are a bit retro but no less enjoyable for that: The omelettes are tasty; the coffee is rather better than passable. Went with my girlfriend on a Saturday nite for a quick meal. Not many people there yet service and food quality not up to par. She had the omelet with home fries. Portion ok but overcooked. My clubhouse sandwich ok but fries overcooked and coleslaw awful. Witnessed a fish and chip order for customers, looked very dark. Ambiance looked ok but needs major upgrading of retro feel.
