"The Lobster Benedict was the most tender and succulent food I have ever had in my life. The pork belly fell apart with a fork and was beautifully layered. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the atmosphere was quaint, quick, and modernly rustic. Clearly they are the best in St. Catherine’s for a reason!"

"Always a decent quality. Benchmark eatery. Not sure if they still do this but kids used to get a toy from a giant chest after dinner. Was always happy to come here as a kid because of that. The food it good!"

"My wife and I moved to Niagara about 4 years ago and quickly realized that good seafood restaurants are in very short supply. We were tired of the chains and looking for something different. We were referred to the Blue Mermaid by a colleague :-)It is a bit hidden right next to the St. Catharines Farmer's Market. In talking with the head server, they have been there for 40+ years.The ambiance was a little old school, and quite charming. The service was impeccable. The food quality was incredible! I had the catch of the day (grilled arctic char) and my wife had the Centennial Platter (aka seafood & rice). They were both excellent!!!Prices were a little high, but the experience and quality was well worth it. Definitely worth a repeat visit!!!"
