4 of us stopped in for lunch after visiting the beach. Taking into account that the server was in training, the other two employes were of no help to her. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap on white. Three servers kept asking me what type of pita I wanted and toppings. I repeated my choices several times to the point of frustration. It was so loud in there that we had trouble hearing over the timid voice of the server. The pita was made with the wrong lettuce and very small amount of fillings. The price of $7 for a small pita was crazy. Will not return to this location. We had been to an other location recently and was disappointed as well.
My chicken sandwich did not have a lot of chicken... a lot of other stuff.... yes!. We went for ice creams next door after, that did the trick! :)
After being unable to find the restaurant where we'd planned to have lunch, we stopped at the Pita Pit. What a great experience. Our falafel sandwiches couldn't have possibly held any more of the fresh veggies and the spices were just right.
The place was not busy tonight - April 17/17, 7:30p. When I walked in, there were three staff. One was sitting in the dining room having something to eat (No staff room? Using space for paying customers? Really?) The other two females were taking an order from two people, apparently personal friends. (Why does it take two people to take an order?) They gabbed and then they all moved over to have their wraps made. One staff did both wraps with the other one did nothing although they both kept gabbing with their two friends. After 10 minutes I walked out. They knew I was there and waiting to order but they were too preoccupied entertaining their friends. I went to Wendy's next door where they know what service is.
I came here with my dad for dinner and I must first say wow great pita!! We both got the large chicken Souvlaki pita. The food was fresh and delicious. Now for the negatives first the price seemed a bit steep 26 dollars for 2 large pitas and a can of coke. That wasn't the thing that bothered me most. What bothered me most was the cashier asked if I would like mushrooms and onions fried with my chicken which I said yes. They didn't give me either which I noticed later. I also asked for two pitas one with extra meat and extra cheese and the other without the extras. Well first pita came along did not look like extra meat even though I was charged for it. I asked is that the one with extra meat the guy cooking it looked a little stunned for a minute then replied "uh uh uh yeah" so I think I got jipped cause when the second one(which they forgot to make I had to remind them I ordered 2) looked like it had pretty well the same amount of meat of it. I dont know if they knew I asked for extra cheese either because the girl making it hardly put any feta cheese on it and I had to ask for more. The food was so delicious after trying it though I didn't really care so much about all the confusion after. I will come back but keep a better eye on staff while assembling my pita.
