"Just wow. What a venue and what a setting. You can really not get any closer to the ocean unless you are in it. I love the casual vibe where you can sit with your feet in the sand and just relax. The service is incredible and our waiter was very knowledgeable and we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for anything we ordered. We opted for the shellfish platter for 2 and we should have invited more friends as the portions were fantastic and all the ingredients fresh. I most like how they serve everything in old tin cups and plates...reminds me a lot of my childhood. In the summer I can only imagine it must be a haven to visit and spend some well deserved down time at. A must visit if you are in the area as a landmark setting in Jay bay."

"Best overall experience in J bay. The milkshakes are truly amazing. They may not look impressive, but their flavours are 100% on point. Food was brought out together and everyone enjoyed what they got. Highly recommend taking the mini foccacias with anything, they were very nice to share. Fishcakes come looking like a little smiling face which is very cute and the potstickers were a good snack too. Good pastas, schnitzel and burgers something for everyone. Dessert was really good too, we loved the double chocolate mousse, the creme brulee and the cookies and cream don pedro. Just the sticky toffee pudding with the little caramel apple could use some improvement as it's quite dry and definitely below the standard of everything else that came to the table. Right on the ocean with a good view and friendly waiters. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dinner experience"
