"Based on previous reviews, this restaurant has really cleaned up its act. We stayed with our son at the hotel and had an outstanding diner there. The amount of choice was just right and just about every ingredient on the menu was local. Even the lamb. Service was fast and friendly, and multilingual of course (this is Switzerland). And then everything we ate was great, with just the right twist on traditional dishes to make them interesting. With several vegetarian options to choose from, even meat-eaters like us got tempted. We like eating out and this is one we will remember."

"After the first visit in 2016, we were once again fragrantly immersed in the culinary world of the Jägerhof in st. gallen on the last Saturday. often the far away is also close - so the special, inviting and with small raffinesses is divided into a selection "from the far" and "from the close" in order to take it right away, as the chef agron lleshi has laid a sloppy on it. excellent creations, with a lot of feeling for the detail - perfectly arranged and censored. the extremely nice, competent service of riad burgmann - and a wee recommendation of jasmin fritsche, which with a lot of heart blood - much charm, competency and expert knowledge - finds the right drop, served and thus completes the lukullic high flight perfectly. the price-performance ratio is correct, the portions are small but fine - and it is asked - whether you have got enough. so everything perfect and yes - they realy are "ready for 18 points from gaultmillau!"
