I use this place regularly, the food is always consistently excellent. I’ve tried many things across the menu, but the favourite for me is the curry soup starter which is delicious, particularly with the shrimp. In terms of the main course, most recently I tried...the sausage which was lovely, but typically I go for steak (cafe de Paris) or chicken or the lamb, always good. View all feedback.
What Jean Marchal doesn't like about netts schützengarten:
The food itself was ok. Pretty tasty, especially the steak. Good beer and wine selection. But our server was pretty bad. She didn't really cared for us so getting something out of her was hard. Overall lovely atmosphere, but probably will not return. View all feedback.

Lovely service (with special thanks to Jonathan); fab food and awesome wine; comfortable ambience and nice lighting!
A wonderful concept of a first class dining in an active brewery. The menu is constantly adapted to seasonal specialities on top of its standard menu.Well prepared and presented by friendly and accommodating staff.Recommend to book a table if you are more than 2 and closer to the weekend.Excellent selection of wines (try one of the Swiss ones) and cheeses. The deserts are taste bombs.
I am a regular visitor in netts, not only due to the proximity to my home, but mainly because I always enjoy the experience. The environment is pleasant, either it is the relaxing shadowy garden in the summer, or in the elegant and cozy interior in the other seasons. The staff is consistently professional (even the apprentices,) attentive and polite. The menu is not exhaustively big, but it is easy to find a couple of dishes to stick with, and there is also a regularly updated specials menu. My favorites are tuna sashimi (for a summer evening in the garden,) tuna steak with wasabi-flavored mashed potatoes, and entrecôte cafe de Paris (mind the quirky flame heater, and admire the skills of the staff when serving the French fries.) The quality is consistent and has never let me down. The open wines are usually a disappointment for the price, but there are many excellent choices for bottled wines and there's always the option of local beer (as local as it gets: from the brewery next door.) We have tried some interesting desserts as well, but by dessert time we are usually too full. The prices are on the high level for the area: our usual bill for 2 people, 2 courses with glass of wine or beer is around 140-180CHF.
We were in the nice again and have to say that eating is still very good. Unfortunately, the service of my guessing has broken down a bit, except the person had a not too good day. otherwise I would visit the restaurant again.
