The Griffin has come a long way in the short time the new owners have been in charge. It’s been a rollercoaster of more than a year of difficulties beyond their control, as in every hospitality setting. The staff are always welcoming and my four-legged...friend is well looked after too. We attended for a few drinks just as a couple. Both drinks we ordered had to be sent straight back, John smiths and prosecco. The prosecco must of been sat in an open bottle for a long time, it was flat and tasted horrendous.. also...wasn’t measured when poured, a glass with a strawberry thrown in. We used to love this pub and in recent months seems to have lost what it used to be. read more.
