"We had a delicious evening meal at the Norseman. We started with beautiful lobster house ravioli. My halibut was fresh and delicious marinaded in lemon zest and topped with nettle pesto accompanied by beautifully a lightly roasted beet, turnip, zucchini medley. My kids enjoyed their duck confit and roasted chicken. Service was warm and the cove view made our evening perfect followed by a relaxed sunset walk along low tide rocks to a sea cave. Thanks for a memorable evening."

"July 2002 was our finest memory of Newfoundland. After a great visit to Gros Morne, we drove to St Anthony and after seeing all the fisherman salmon fishing along the way, we longed for a nice Salmon diner, The Lightkeepers Seafood Restaurant was our pick of Diners and we were not disappointed. Lovely salmon dinner with wine, newfie music, view of the Harbour with whales, porpoises, icebergs all in one spot. Superb. Would love to get there again. "Worst service and my food was cold. The solution was to put it in the microwave with my coleslaw still on the plate so then I had a new experience warm coleslaw. Microwaved ribs and taquitos are a little rubbery!!!! My loaded potato had about 6 pieces of bacon bits on it and 4 pieces of green onion so save your money as it’s an extra charge for that. "Best place we've eaten since we've been in NL. Every other place is outrageously priced for tourists, not for those of us travelers who just want a local eatery with good, fair-priced food and a cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed stopping in here after visiting L'Anse aux Meadows. Had the moose burger and scallops, husband had a cheeseburger and fries. Good food, friendly service. We'd definitely go back."
