"Nothing can beat Miyako in Linz. Miyako offers excellent quality fully self-made vegetarian Ramen noodles and soup. Furthermore dishes can be customised to be vegetarian or vegan if you ask the staff. The normal menu offers between 5-10 vegan dishes depending on the season. The food in general is always fresh and always tastes exceptionally good. The staff is very friendly at all times and you instantly feel welcomed when you step in. "There's a good selection of Belgian beers here, many of which are 8% or more in strength, but also a few lighter beers, including a range of fruit beers. This is good, given the generally low quality and range of beers in the centre of Linz. Unfortunately the bar allows people to smoke, which is very unpleasant. I appreciate this may be a national Austrian thing, but the rest of Europe sorted this problem out years ago - this is 2017, and other bars in Linz seem to have banned smoking indoors. The worst aspect of the place was the barman who insisted on charging for beers that we didn't drink; I'd recommend if you visit you pay for each drink as you have it."
