I recently checked out Wild Child and heard a lot of good stuff about it. The food was awesome, especially the ribs appetizer—it tasted just like amazing bacon, which was like heaven! The service was really good too; our server paid a lot of attention to us. But the seating was kind of a downside. We sat outside on the covered patio, and it was pretty breezy and cold. They did have some cool new plants out there, tho... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wild Child:
I enjoyed some vegan apps and cocktails with friends and everything was beautiful. just down is that their covered terrace is extremely loud, so my man and I both ended up with a hoarse throat at the end of the evening. they could use a little noise-absorbing. I will probably not go back because it is too exhausting to have to scream all the time. View all feedback.
I've only eaten once. I had the taco starter. Small very tasty portion. Their Cabernet was great. It's a small modern restaurant. My friend had the duck, which he thoroughly enjoyed. All good. I'll definitely visit again.
This place was awesome. I do wish my chicken was seasoned and not just the hot sauce on top. otherwise it was crunchy and juicy. the butternut squash and goat cheese croquettes were amazing. light and airy and refreshing. my cocktail was also fresh the watermelon was delicious.Vegetarian options: there isn’t a vegetarian menu and specific section but there are many vegetarian options. everything was amazing.
Stopped in for brunch to try a new spot and was lucky enough to snag a spot at the busy bar, instead of waiting 45 minutes for a table. The BEC was nicely done...fluffy eggs and a hint of lemon(? in the roasted red pepper sauce, which was a great touch. The passion fruit curd French toast was also nicely executed. Overall, would probably not put this place in my top 3 brunch spots in St Pete, but will try again, next time for lunch or dinner.
Not a great experience. My boyfriend and I went it to grab dinner and was told there was a 30 minute wait. We got seated in 10 minutes and were greeted by our waitress. We placed our order and waited over 45 minutes to get our food. I ordered a hanger steak (the most expensive menu on the item). Once my food did arrive I was highly disappointed. My plate consisted of 2 thin and chewy pieces of said steak as well as 1 singular broccoli floret and 3 potato wedges. That being said the food was tasty but absolutely not worth the $35…. Won’t be returning.
One of the best restaurants in St. Pete. If you are looking for a unique dinning experience with quality ingredients this is the spot. Staff was great as the cocktails were on point. I was lucky enough to come right before they changed the menu over. Make reservations because as you would expect, they are
