Too bad, good possibility for a Friday lunch but service too long the 2 stars for the kitchen is because the fries were good on the other hand we were told a horse steak but not a horse steak so it's not great we are still waiting for the basket with bread!!!! "Lovely evening out with English friends. The new owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The suggestion that the wives would miss a starter and share their husband's was met without the bat of a Gallic eyelid so when the chef arrived with a small teaplate of the starter from the husband's portion but beautifully presented in its own right we were delighted-and as suspected the portion was of ample size to suit everyone. The main courses and desert were delicious-even the chips which accompanied a succulent steak -if they were frozen as is often the case they managed to hide it very well! Will definitely go again and be happy to recommend the place. Like buckmaster53 I cannot accept lindarichardcpr had a normal experience especially as a Sunday roast has not featured on the menu for a number of months as far as I know."
