the old bentheim has a pretty nice terrace right in front of the castle. good sunshades on a hot day. staff very friendly and helpful, eating came quite fast. drink in good size. spontaneously ask if they want water with the wine. could only pay money... all because the card reader couldn't get any connection. Sitting at the foot of the castle in Bad Bentheim, this is a traditional German restaurant. Dog friendly. Had my usual rumpsteak dinner. No complaints.
Limited menu, but the meat we ate was juicy and tasty. popular restaurant with beautiful outdoor terrace.
Disappointing eating, German, but the art of German eating, which the people presented themselves in the 1970s. I had her typical dish: bratkartoffeln, cooked green beans, meat of poor quality with mushroom sauce and a bowl of green salate. dry wine per glass was cheap and sweet
With the Kaiser-Bismarck-Statue near the terrace and an excellent selection of diners, including seasonal dishes and economical, there is something here for every taste. perfect service, great village and friendly prices make this a must.
