"Me and my boyfriend visited Marktküche and believe this was the best (vegan dinner we have ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was extraordinarily tasty and we experienced surprising tastes and sensations in every course. Our whole experience started with the herb butter, which my boyfriend doubted to be vegan (this is how good it was! . We ordered the 6-course menu and believe this was perfect in terms of quantity and experience. We wouldn't go for less courses because the experience is simply too amazing and each additional dish made us incrementally happy. We also had the wine pairing which was perfectly matched to our dishes. Because we are both vegan, it was especially nice to experience a surprise tasting that usually lives from slow-cooked high-quality meat and fish creations. In my opinion, this was even better than any surprise tasting I had before I turned vegan. On a side note, the restaurant is located at the corner of a street and life was busy around us (bikes, people walking , yet, not loud or annoying to the experience. In fact, we especially loved this location and coziness/ relaxed atmosphere it brought us. Similarly, the whole team was extremely friendly and open for a chat. We really enjoyed this uncomplicated, homely atmosphere of such a fancy place, while still following the restaurant etiquette but adjusting to the guests needs. This is a really unique place. This is for all foodies, regardless of their diet!! We will definitely come back when we visit Zurich the next time."

"My husband and I were invited to Salzwaage for a birthday dinner two years ago. At that time we had a very good impression of the restaurant, good food, friendly service. Today we thought we would go there to eat, but unfortunately we had very bad experiences. We were there at 5:50 p.m. and ordered both a starter and a main course. At 7:00 p.m. we finished eating and ordered take away. The take away still hadn't arrived by 7:30 p.m., no one asked us why we only ate at the table, no request for dessert, coffee... the boss came at 7:35 p.m. and said we should order earlier, but we already ordered from a waitress 35 minutes ago. The food wasn't prepared until 7:35 p.m. Not even an apology. The take away finally arrived at 7:50 p.m. We are very disappointed and will never go again. We paid for the meal, but unfortunately we felt completely poorly served."

"We had lunch late on a sunny Saturday. We had barley soup and a salad to start, and then a traditional Swiss "Fitness Teller" with chicken and calves liver with röstli. Everything was very nice although pricy although the view over the lake made it worthwhile. We look forward to visiting again in the summer when we will be able to sit outside."

"I tried the Pho here and what I got served I cannot describe as Pho. I got a bowl of noodles (that seemed more like spaghetti) in hot water (not sure even any flavouring was added) with 5 pieces of beef and side of some leaves and beansprouts. I ate the few pieces of beef and beansprouts and after eating some of the noodles, I was thinking Why am I eating a bowl of plain pasta? so I left it and went to eat somewhere else. I don 't think I will ever be coming back here."
