"Went early on Saturday evening, the owner was very friendly , my partner and myself were both impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. We had pate and garlic mushrooms for starter which weee both homemade and lovely. My partner chose Steak for his main which was tender and cooked perfectly, accompanied by chips and all the trimmings. I had the lamb shank with mash and fresh vegetables which was absolutely delicious ! Looking forward to returning for the Sunday lunch sometime soon."

"Cosy and treated with the highest respect. The chef is even prepared to cook any food at request, my wife only eats English food but came with us and had a lovely meal made to an excellent standard. Not cheap meals but in no way expensive for the quality."

"This has been my regular choice of Chip Shop for as long as I can remember. The shop has changed with the times throughout the years, with great additions to the menus. The chicken kebab meat is lovely, the fish and chips are excellent, and the kids menus are also a favourite for the nipper. A great team and clean premises."
