Since joules refurbed the place, we have been regular visitors. Always good beer, warm friendly welcome. Very covid safe, large airy rooms with plenty of room. Thursday steak night is good value at for with a bottle of descent wine. Good addition to the area , with a mature clientel, back ground music not intrusive. Staff friendly and try hard. read more.

I Visited a while ago food wasn't good then, thought it may have been teething problems so thought we would try again but same poor food, garlic mushrooms overcooked so hard to eat, My ham egg and chips came and the ham was completely brown and smelt off, so not safe to eat, so gave it them back and just had chips and egg. No apology, Not great. Won't be retuning. read more.
