What Elisabeth09359 doesn't like about Horse Jockey Inn:
I visited this Public House, which is adjacent to a caravan site, recently for Sunday lunch. It was priced at £9.45 for one course or £12 for two. I opted for the one course and although I thought it a little over priced I expected the quality to reflect the price. read moreNestled beside a caravan site, this charming local pub offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday lunch. Although prices range from £9.45 for one course to £12 for two, patrons have reported mixed experiences. While many appreciated the hearty carvery, featuring tender meat and fresh vegetables, others complained of subpar quality and cleanliness. The hospitable staff and inviting setting enhance its appeal, along with occasional live music and a selection of local ales. Despite some inconsistencies, the public house remains a popular choice for those seeking a delightful dining experience in the area.
Lovely food, very good value. Landlord jovial and friendly Food service curt and not friendly. This will stop me going to Horse and Jockey in the future.
