This is the best retail fresh fish outlet we have discovered in the UK. It beats, for example, Etaples in the Pas de Calais we regularly visit, though Etaples has a greater variety of species for sale . What david howson doesn't like about Whitby Seafish:
Bought two crabs to dress myself. They were not opened in shop and it was only when back at holiday home found out full of a watery sloppy mess. We are lovers of crab and have them on a regular basis but have never been sold such poorly prepared crab £10 down the drain. Very disappointed. View all feedback.
Smoked salmon, haddock and traditional killers all smoked locally to delicious affect. A local business offering superb sea food at reasonable prices.
