"What a beautiful venue! This restaurant is geared for families. Excellent playground for the kids, a good wine list for dad and a beautiful setting to let mom feel special. We were warmly welcomed and the service was very good. We ordered full breakfast and it was served with fresh seed bread and homemade jam. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Their coffee is excellent too. A well worth stop to or from Stanford."

"In summary excellent food and excellent service.<br/>we ordered the chicken liver starter which was absolutely delicious. definitely the stand out meal of the evening. mussels provençal was also a tasty starter. for mains we ordered the fresh hake maitre de hotel which was beautifully and simply prepared with basmati rice. also a honey and mustard fillet of pork, which was one of the specials, very delicious as well.<br/>this restaurant, though rather overpriced for certain main dishes, is the best option in hermanus hands down."

"Review is about the restaurant. Food is good. But prices are on the higher side. There are lots of chickens, ducks, lamb and pigs roaming around. You can buy some food for R5 to feed the animals and birds, they're cute and friendly. The nursery has some good plants. The Venus fly trap made me excited but was quite expensive."
