since 14 years I visited the black pig when my wife worked there many years ago! I've never seen such a great atmosphere in this pub before, and it's all been living and its souls again. the food was fantastic (best cake I had and I like a cake! good beer and very friendly staff especially the owners. a visit worth a meal or a pint or five! Lovely location friendly safe, unfortunately the service was not great but we were able to ignore that and enjoy the food. Safety: We walked at night, very quiet and safe. Walkability: It was up the same road as our Airbnb so super location. Food drinks: Lovely vegetarian menu with fresh produce. I enjoyed it would be back.
