What Staten Island Girl doesn't like about Staten Island Diner:
The food was okay. We wanted to try a new diner. Too many nicer places near my home to make this trip. The service was good. Very friendly but got my order wrong. It was quickly resolved. There is no parking here. The place is old. Needs a renovation. If you ask for soda, there are no refills. They charge by the can. Enjoy. read more.

Great place. We didn’t realize it closed at 7 we walked in at 6:59 and they insisted we stay.

"I placed a large order on ubereats around two hours before their closing for my family and I. I ordered a party platter, which had an entire roll missing. The platter was yummy regardless! I just wish they were more accurate. I ordered 6 drinks, 1 of my drinks was missing, and the other 4 that I ordered spilled in the car. The strawberry boba drink spilled almost entirely. That restaurant is an 8 minute drive from my apartment. How does this happen? I contacted Uber support and they said the order was not eligible for a refund! This was a horrible experience and I will never order from this place ever again.Their beef teriyaki however was very flavorful! Their fried rice as well, soo delicious. Might buy this in-person next time and I’ll update accordingly.In all honesty, it’s probably better to skip their drinks hahah"

"A woman who wasn 't even our waiter gave us the check and a to go box before we were even done dining. When I said I was going to order more, don 't worry we 'll tell you when we want the check she nastily told us we have a 1 hour and 30 minute limit .... OK we had only been there for 40 minutes! How is that relevant? They REALLY want to rush people out of there since they 're busy, but guess what? Not our problem. My food was actually very good but a couple of the people I was with didn 't even like their food, and the woman trying to rush us out really spoiled the mood. We asked for more tea and didn 't get any after that also. It 's too bad because the guy who was our waiter was fine. Not pleasant, but functional as a waiter."

"Wow. I had no idea this place had such a beautiful area in the back. This is top notch Italian food! So tasty and delicious. The beet salad and the artichokes are amazing appetisers. The pizzas are to die for."
