Holiday Inn Express Suites Statesville

Special shout out to the front desk clerk on Thursday 6/30 (after 11pm) for taking great care of my family while stopping for the night on a road trip. I'm a IHG Platinum member, and certainly felt like it. She was fantastic! Breakfast was good, room was clean, though had a lingering cologne smell. We will visit again!

This hotel is disgusting. Housekeeping hasn't even bothered to clean in 4 days. The bathtub has black mold and the tub is leaking. The ceiling paint is hanging down. Looks like a water is leaking up from underneath the tile in the bathroom. Front desk representative is scary odd.

Hallways smelled and soiled and pillow case was not clean and overpriced ! Wont go back

7/3/19 Room was remodeled and the bathroom door doesn't even close. No lock to latch the door. Then was told breakfast would be at 6AM. Get downstairs for breakfast and lady (Diane) in the rudest way possible says we're not open yet. I asked for just a yogurt then so I can go to work. She said no we are not open yet you will have to wait. Worst customer service I've ever had. Not to mention the bed was so loud with the frame underneath. Did t sound like it was put together right.

5/9 I just returned to my room to find it blocked by construction. I return to the front desk to ask what was going on and I was told that my hallway was under renovation. They did not offer to change my room until I complained! I had to pack everything up and move rooms but they were on able to provide me with the same room type as I had before. Then the fire alarm went off and no one could tell us what was going on. I would avoid this location if possible.
