Great pizza, great service. Nice clean place, friendly staff. Local favorite! Update: we like to visit weekly. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Italian, you have to try this place. The puttanesca is to die for, shrimp taverna is delicious. If nothing else, the homemade desserts are a must have. I haven't had a true sgfoiatell since we left Utica. Absolutely devine. What FriedChicken doesn't like about Vesuvio's Italian Pizzeria:
Been here 3 times and there are always some flaw with the food. Spaghetti is not al dente, it was too soft. Basil on my pizza was burn. Quality control needs to be better if you are charging prices like that. $23 for large pizza and quality was not there. View all feedback.
I brought my wife in for a birthday celebration, after a recommendation by a friend. I'm glad I went to Vesuvio's. The food was delicious, great atmosphere and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I've found a new favorite place for a night on the town. I would highly recommend this establishment, if you're looking for great Italian food.
OMG, I have found the greatest Italian Sub in Statesville, possibly in NC. I just love this place. Their food is so fresh and they use quality ingredients. I just discovered Vesuvio's this week and I have been there 3 times. First was the Italian, then Cheese Steak, then Pizza. All excellent. The atmosphere is awesome and the girl that waited on me all 3 times was a true delight. Can not say anything negative about this restaurant, you gotta try it !!!!!!!
Loved it way back when it was “Amalfi”. Haven’t been there in years, but glad to see that the menu still features high quality Southern Italian cuisine. Very attractive and flavorful, with a capable waitress.
Amazing, authentic Italian food with the nicest people you will meet. Best pizza in Statesville, and great specials. Proud to be a regular!
