"Wow. Okay. I was very excited to come here. I'd heard such amazing things. But it seems to me the tourists (I am one) have killed it. I had to send food back. The staff seems exhausted. Everyone from the manager to the hostess to the kitchen seems exhausted and over it. I really see what this place probably was in its glory days. But those days are gone. "Great authentic Bavarian atmosphere and cuisine. The food is fantastic and portions are plentiful, served family style. Almost everything about this place is authentic Bavaria. The menu has plenty of options and the beer selection is substantial. Their Black Forest Cake was delicious but it was lacking the kirschwasser flavor. It seems that is just impossible to find in the US but not everyone likes it. Dinner for two, with two beers and desserts was only about $65. We have come every few years and will continue as the quality has been consistent. It really is like a small town Bavarian tavern."
