Comfortable fun atmosphere! Love the people and bartenders.
I tried them for the first time on the local food truck Tuesday. I had those with the steak and heap tomatoes that were delicious. the penang brisket taco will change her life. I'll be back next week.
The last pure American public house. Arkansas is in danger of losing their last great treasure from police pressure and changes in alcohol laws. From a time where alcohol was not the exception, and rowdy was something you had to leave town for; the Rainbow Inn is a county line honkytonk that is an exception to today 's drinking culture, and not to be overlooked. There was a time in history where the locals knew the pub owner by name and called them friend (hell a pub was the second thing built when the pilgrims landed); but now in our current information age there are few places that remain that contain the amount of local charm and good times that that are to be had like the Rainbow Inn. As a Dallas, Tx native that moved to Arkansas the first chance he got, I was happily greeted by the great atmosphere and down-home charm that the Rainbow Inn provides. Although graced (or bastardized) by 1 large 55 screen with satellite TV and an electronic jukebox system that is the standard in places like Fayetteville (or Austin), I never felt detached from the country charm. I had a conversation with the owner and the long-time bartender like it was nothing that a streange face walked in the front doors, and that it had been that way there in Ogenaw, AR for years. 1932 is the year i was quoted, and while some of the Southern religionists have tried to run them out, they maintain their thumbs up to operate under grandfather clauses in county law. This is really the last place in Arkansas that operates like a frontier Inn (similar to the fairview inn in Talkeetna, AK) and that, in it 's self, deserves a visit. Keep this historic place open!

This excellent neighborhood bar is a popular spot where the regulars all seem to know each other. The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting, with the added bonus of pool tables and regular tournaments for added entertainment.
