Awesome home cooked food and a great family atmosphere. We had salad and jumbalaya and both were delicious. Cheddar biscuits were so yummy! Dessert is HUGE portions and excellent! Lots of fun activities for kiddos and a petting zoo as well. A great time, we will be back! View all feedback.
What Theresa Fowler doesn't like about Dianne's Ranch Diner:
Gave this ?diner? a try on our way back up to Denton for work. Husband had the beef stew and I had the chicken enchiladas with green Chile sauce and a side salad. Enchiladas tasted liked they were frozen. Husbands beef stew was mostly carrots. Biscuits were heavy, not airy. Best bright spot was the side salad! He also wondered how hot it would be eating in the open air texas heat this summer. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Loved the food (Shepard's pie King ranch chicken) and the banana cream pie!! Sweet tea was good too! A little warm (had no idea the dining area was a screened in porch but they had a huge fan so it wasn't too bad) real ingredients, real butter!!
Fabulous stop on our way to Hill Country. The staff friendly? the atmosphere pure Texas? and the food? absolutely delicious. Our group tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and the soup/salad combo (the summer squash soups was delish with the cheddar biscuits ???? A great stop? will definitely hit it again!
