Fantastic, authentic French pastries. I have been buying pastries here for about 10 years and have never been disappointed. Make sure you get in early so you don't miss out though! View all feedback.
What Nikko Larkin doesn't like about Cannelle French Pastries:
Cannelle is a not-so-hidden-gem in Adelaide, nothing better than starting your day with authentic French croissant and a glass of coffee. I love the crispiness on it yet its soft inside. View all feedback.

It's a take away shop, a bakery. A wholesaler supplying all ''appealling'' cafes in Adelaide, desn't have to be appealing itself!! Unexpectedly fabulous and Yummy pastries. Best croissants ever. ☺
Unassuming little shop but BEST croissants ever! Their almond croissants were so good that I ate them before I even thought about taking a photo...luckily I had 3 plain croissants so there was time to take a picture of it before it was devoured
Out for a quick coffee this morning, originally planned to go somewhere else but had an issue with that place but I have seen the sign outside Cannelle stating that they had Adelaide's best pastries so today we went in. I had an apricot danish, the pastry was light, full of flavour and crispy. The selection was limited as we there late. The cafe is not designed for people to stay as it not appealing at all but the pastries are fantastic and the coffee is quite good. In future get there early (I believe they open at 6) buy the croissants and danishes and enjoy at home.
This is an odd place with no (traditional cafe) ambiance, and with weird and inconsistent hours. But the coffee is great and the croissants and other baked goods are the best in town.
