"Came across this heavenly place while exploring downtown Detroit. I ordered myself the vegetarian pho and it was by far the best I have eaten so far in Michigan. The broth was flavorful, tofu and veggies were fresh and simply yummy! The ambiance and service was amazing. Very friendly and cozy and great spot near downtown. I highly recommend it."

"Great place if all you want is a basic bagel. Bagels are so good on their own but I always get the Vegan Special which is a bagel with cream cheese and fresh veggies on it. Veggies are always ripe and crisp and flavorful. They 're generous with the spreads and toppings. I reccomend the garlic bagel and rosemary bagel but all that I 've tried are great. Lines are always long on weekends so I reccomend ordering ahead of time online (which will likely have 1st availability for pickup an hour out). Kind of annoying that it 's time consuming for a bagel but... honestly still worth it. Usuallt fully staffed with all hands on deck, they are all nice and work hard to keep things efficient. I was impressed when I ordered in store last time as the worker put on a new pair of gloves and was meticulous while making my sandwich with care. Would definitely be better if we had some vegan egg/sausage/cheese type options but cream cheese will do for now. They also have fresh fruit cups, coffee, juices, kombuchas, etc. available for purchase."

"Goblin has the BEST sushi around !!everything is always fresh, the employees are so kind, fantastic prices for the quality of their sushi, the interior is so cute and clean on the inside, and did i mention how good their food is ? if i could eat their sushi every single day of my life, i genuinely would. (my favorites are the tempura shrimp w spicy mayo, the edamame, and the philly roll.)when im not eating goblin sushi, i’m dreaming about the next time i’ll be eating goblin sushi."

"The shawarma sandwich was cheap and very good!!! The grape leaves were very skimpy and fell apart. Portions of meat entrees looked very large and customers were very satisfied with portions!! Great tasting shawarma.. You can tell the owner was overwhelmed it was too busy and not enough staff. They need help. Watched guy behind the fill water from hand washing sink into glasses for customer to drink. Should be put into a picture with a filter refrigerated and then served. Giving basic trap water to a pain customer is unacceptable."
