"Matsu Ya never lets us down. Each sushi roll is fresh and perfectly finished. We had the Tako Yaki for an app, a Taco Roll, Fire Dragon Roll and Spicy Cali roll for dinner last night and all were exceptional. Although they were from Plum wine, the flight went well. The server was fast, knowledgeable and kept a good eye on our drinks during the meal. Always a treat to eat here and explore seasonal reels."

"They have a ton of different servers and they’re often not great at serving. Either they’re scrambling for just a few tables and you’re sitting and waiting a long time, or they’re short and rude. I used to be a server so I know good service and the service just kind of lacks here. They charge an immediate 18% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. If you come with your wife and two kids, be prepared to be charged a party gratuity! (I tip really, really well so they’re not doing themselves any favors with this. The menu is great, but occasionally you’ll get a plate that isn’t amazing. Do not recommend fish tacos. Definitely recommend the gyro or the southwest nachos! They have tons of gluten free options and substitutions but be prepared to pay like $4 more per dish for the gluten free option. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-08"

"This place has a great vibe. The waitress was so incredibly nice! They have a nice selections of beers on tap. The fried fish was great and the homemade tarter sauce was top notch. The coleslaw was not my favorite but I think that?s just how it?s made around these parts. They also have tons of room for larger groups of people with multiple rooms of tables."
