My first visit here was back in the 1970 's and little has changed. A fantastic multi room traditional pub. Always liked coming here. A Joseph Holt 's pub selling their excellent bitter one of my all time favourite beers or mild. I remember telling a puzzle story about crossing a river in a small row boat with a chicken, some grain and a fox. Sadly I knocked over my pint.. you didn 't need to make a river..we could i... Popped in for a pint with my partner and didn't see any signs saying the car park was a paid car park. There was no indication of this inside either staff never mentioned anything. And now I recieved a parking ticket for £100. Won't be returning, obviously. View all feedback.
