"We have been coming here since it opened, behind the fish counter. I highly recommend the food though I was disappointed when the fish platter starter became a fish and vegetables platter and we we’re paying a high price for veg in tempura with an absence of prawns and squid. My better half recommends the Sea Bass. I would always opt for the Haddock and Chips. I do suggest they consider a blackboard option of their fish (in the fridge) and serve with vegetables and spuds It would be a great way of clearing the decks of fish unsold in the shop. "I placed an order online for delivery (website says delivery is available Sunday-Thursday), but the owner called to say we would have to collect which was a little inconvenient but we agreed. When we got the order home the curry sauce for the veg koththu was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know and the owner spoke to me like I was stupid, and tried to say that whilst the menu says the koththu comes with curry sauce, and that this is standard with koththu when you eat inside the restaurant, you have to specifically ask for the curry sauce if you are ordering online. This was a blatant lie, as the chicken koththu came with the curry sauce as it should, as it says on the online order menu. I can’t believe the owner would try to fob me off rather than apologise and refund the dish. You just lost a customer for this."
