Just went for early drinks. Hospitable service made to feel welcome. Great to see a pub full of people
Lovely pub, lovely landlord and landlady and staff, and great food cooked fresh, not pub chain food. Regularly add specials too the menu as well as changing the fish of the day, pie of the day and curry of the days. We came for Sunday dinner on this occasion and weren't disappointed.
The 16th century pub has a warm and cosy atmosphere. Very clean and the set up is well thought out. The owners, (sorry not good with names) are lovely people, so accommodating. Mentioned to look on Facebook for the outside music event they will be holding in September. Definitely going back.
Wow… great food. Exceeded my expectations. The fish of the day was delicious and they did it with lovely veg and also fries because I asked for the switch. It was really tasty and had a lovely sauce. Also had a lovely crumble afterwards. And they put a strawberry in the Prosecco which was a nice touch. Would recommend!
Lovely friendly pub with a good and interesting menu . Fish and vegetarian/ vegan choice is good. Would definitely revisit.
