while the menu does not specify any vegan options, any amount of their menu can be adjusted. from four starters could be made three vegan/were vegan (pâté, hummus supp,e.) for the net could be two of three vegan (mushroom, spinat and cashew biryani, and a mushroom bouruignon.) they also had a Puy-Lentil-Chali served with a flat brot or rice. children loved it, and the biryani was absolutely delicious! What User doesn't like about The Waiting Room:
It's lovely inside and the staff are nice. The food is good but the problem is for a vegetarian restaurant the number of vegan options is tiny. Almost everything contains cheese! They should provide vegan cheese! View all feedback.
Really wanted to love this place.. but I don't! Very average food £18 to £20+ for mains. My main was luke warm. Not terrible but not £18! Over all very underwhelming. Surroundings felt dated and in need of upgrade (some damp on walls etc) I'm leaving this in fear of the extremely long reply from the owner!....But its just my humble opinion and it seems lots of people seem to love it! So I may be the problem!
Not vegetarian but this was a delicious meal . Service good and lovely atmosphere. . Would definitely go back . Portions huge.
Beautiful food as ever. An amazing vegetarian eating experience. Never had a single bite of bad food there.
Visited the waiting room twice in the last month and it never disappoints! Great vegetarian food and they change the menu often. Delicious wine and friendly service. Can be a little cold inside especially if you’re seated in the room at the back so just bring a jumper. Would definitely recommend a visit!!
An excellent and varying vegetarian menu. You don't miss the absence of meat at all! Interesting drinks selection as well. I can recommend the enchilada with puy lentil filling rather similar to a quesadilla with more cheese!!
