"Delicious food, and I'm fussy! Thoroughly enjoyed all the flavours. Probably not an ideal place for vegetarians/vegans, however. Also, I felt a little cold in there to start, so that took away from the coziness. This didn't seem to bother others, so maybe that was just me. I warmed up after a glass of wine! "Saw Sophie_ B had very rated and she has good taste, why not. Why did it take me so long? What a fantastic little place for lunch. The menu is really vegan friendly and the owner 'Hamiliton' is beautiful. The food tasted fantastic and we had... Feijoada £9.90. A traditional Brazilian black bean bowl with vegan smoked sausage, served with cooked rice, Farofa (Plügel like bread crumbs, but is made of cassava (yuka and kraged greens). My word, what a... what a pleasure. The family recipe is the best I had. Caldo de Feijao £5.20. A traditional Brazilian creamy bean soup with vegan sausages served with oregano olive oil croutons. The beans came from the hometown of Hamilton in Brazil and it was really creamy, thick and very full. Vegan Hot Dog Brazilian style. 5,30 pounds. A hot dog that really tasted good. The vegan Mayo with its homemade sauce and mustard really rounded it off. It is described as Brazilian, but the potato sticks made it more American. Maybe a Brazilian clamp like potato salad or a side salad? Vegan Cheesy Chips £3,90. Not the usual bad quality of vegan cheese, but cute Runny cheese that melts really guilty sense. Yeah, like this week. Yeah. "

"Stopped in here while away on business. I was expecting a nice, quiet local Italian restaurant; what I found was a bustling, quality restaurant. It was packed when I arrived, without a reservation, but they managed to fit me in. Staff clearly very busy but working hard, and being friendly and professional. The steak I ordered was a generous size and cooked perfectly. Sauce was excellent, all other accompaniments good. From what I could see of other diners’ food it all looked spot on. Good expansive menu as well, could go here regularly and not get bored. Drinks good too, everything fairly priced. Fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back here in future."

"First time visit to Darlington and in need of a curry we chose here after looking at the reviews. They were very positive overall but looking back I notice there are some glaring omissions. First of all there are only six tables, this is on a par with the Wee Curry House in Scotland. However I wouldn 't have sat at either of the two tables, shoe horned in, right next to the toilets. The four tables in the front room were full (it was a Saturday night after all) and our table was under the window, ideal except so was the air conditioning unit, it is so close that I could rest my arm on it. Unfortunately although it was a warm night I had to turn it off. Service was very friendly but rather slow, this is not helped by the kitchen and bar being on the ground floor, and dining is on the first. Not great if you have mobility difficulties. The above aside, our food was good but there was a marked similarity between the two mains we ordered, and the chicken was a bit dry in both. All else was very good, madam saying that the red wine was excellent. Reasonable prices and a large public car park behind are a bonus. I would be more than happy to go back but it would probably be mid week."
