"After a day of drinking it was time to switch to beer. This Sunday afternoon it was a perfect spring day to sit under huge oaks and listen to some live music. The picnic tables were perfect and we really enjoyed the mood of this little ice house. It was hard to drink on this busy day with bartenders that turn out and more motorcycle crews appear. If you are looking for a local slopeout away from the tourist crowds, then this place is for you!"

"So I brought my family here after church because we finally got an opportunity to eat out together. Well, I?ll get right to it. We waited 45 for our food before I went to go for my refund. Right then and there, the food came out. Now I know that it was Sunday, after church and the place was packed?but 45 minutes for a couple burgers, fries, and a kids meal? To me it was unacceptable, but because it was ready right there, we ended up eating the food (see the picture comments). I gave this place only one star because the people were friendly."

"5 of us stopped here for dinner. 2 ordered the ribeye and brussel sprouts and they both enjoyed their meal. However, the rest of us were disappointed with ours. My husband ordered the pork chop. While well seasoned, I thought it was very chewy. But thebiggest disappointment was our chicken entree. On the menu, there was a Half smoked chicken for $19. The waitress told usright away that they didn 't have that but the substitution was another chicken. Since my sister and I don 't eat pork or beef,we decided to share the chicken dish since it was half chicken . As you can see from the pic, we received a very small quarterchicken!! Just a drumstick and thigh. No breast, no wing. Definitely not big enough to really share ???? And, the price of thisother chicken was $27. I won 't be coming back."

"Overall, we Googled places to eat after a long day of activities while on the way home. We were able to eat at this place, Haciendo El Charro, and we were able to eat outside on the back patio. Chips and salsa were complimentary. My daughter ordered the Mexican Coke in the bottle. Served cold. My wife ordered coffee and it was made fresh for her. Our son and I had water, and it tasted fine. Green and Red salsa came out with the food and the green salsa was good and not too hot or overpowering. Our daughter ordered the bean and cheese tacos, cheese was.plentiful, but still cold and not melted very much. Our son had the barbacoa, and they were not all meat as we requested. Out of the 2 tacos he ordered, he made 1 complete taco of fat so they did replace it with a taco of Carne Asada, no charge. My wife had the carne asada with cheese, bell peppers, and onions, I 'll add the correct name later. She enjoyed it and it was good. I had the burrito loc, steak, chicken, and shrimp, all inside the burrito. I substituted the cheese sauce for the guisada gravy and melted cheese. It had good flavor and was stuffed accordingly. Overall, a B+ for service, food, quantity, and value in the small town of Blanco."

"Over the past four years, we've eaten here. There's always a waiting time, but it's not too bad. They allow you to order drinks and sit outside while you wait. The main rib was always excellent and the service is great. We love coming here."
