Love spaces that offer an elevated menu, yet laid back approach. We had a quick, on a whim brunch with our child under 2 and the food was great. pancakes were a hit with the little one, with enough for a dessert for our meals. Service was happy to have our little one come in and was very accommodating. We'll be coming here again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosph... What L D doesn't like about The Cornerhouse:
The service was great and the ambiance decor of this place was very nice. The food wasn't all that good. The hummus appetizer plate was awful. The worst hummus I have ever had. Very clumpy, too cold and had absolutely no flavor to it at all. The pita bread was also burnt. (We did complain and our server Shelby? glady returned it for a replacement). Everything else we had was just mediocre, for the pricing (the roasted veggie salad my husband enjoyed). I was willing to give this place a try again for another type of meal (e.g. brunch), but my husband has no desire to go back. After the hummus, I stopped taking pictures. The food was of poor quality, tasted old, we honestly could get past the first few bites. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30
I was disappointed with the chicken main dish at this restaurant. It was very oily and undercooked. I also found it surprising to pay $30 for a chicken dish. The service was ok. Overall, for a dinner meal, the price per person ranges from $50 to $60.
