"Wonderful experience at The Lamb. I was delighted at the variety of vegetarian options very unusual to get a choice and not a mushroom risotto in sight. My husband was also very happy with his flat iron steak. Great meal, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff...and Molly the dog asleep on my foot. Perfect evening!"

"We came here for lunch after being recommended it. We were not disappointed! The food was very fresh and delicious and the menu choices were far greater than what we were expecting. The service was lovely and the atmosphere very relaxed. We loved it so...much we stayed longer for coffee and cake. We didn't want to leave."

"A fairly basic pub menu, but priced at the top end. The decor and location are lovely and the service from the young staff was excellent. They have good indoor and outdoor space and are dog friendly. The food was good and well cooked and presented, but there is nothing particularly interesting about the menu choices or the portion sizes to justify twenty quid for a burger. 12.5% service was added automatically. Topping out at £50pp, with modest drinks and desserts, this felt expensive. Perhaps this is what it takes for a local pub to be sustainable these days, but on a Friday night our table was one of only a handful occupied. Good for a special occasion maybe, but not a regular event."

"We visited in May 2021. it was so difficult to get to a table and had to remain silent and very busy. the personal was helpful and the service was good. we had the cauliflower wedge and the food dish. the cauliflower wedge was particularly good and has completely transformed us into the cauliflower. a good option in this neck of the forest where there are not many vegan friendly places"

"Scenic area and DELICIOUS food. We did have to wait a while for the food but it tasted so amazing that it was worth the wait. My husband and I shared the mushroom and truffle pie with mashed potatoes. Others at our table had the baked camembert and the fish and chips. All of it was very good.
