"While this restaurant is located a little off the beaten track, it is well worth making the trip to experience some truly unique dumpling dishes. Austria is famous for their Knödel (dumplings), but most of the time they are a rather plain variety called Semmel-knödel,...which usually accompanies a meat and vegetable dish. Here, the Knödel are the main attraction. The Gasthaus offers different dumpling dishes. Many are made with a different meat or sausage, while one is made with mushrooms and another with spinach. You can order a dish with just one flavor or select a mixed plate to sample a wider variety of taste experiences. They even have sweet dessert dumplings too. We were amazed at their unique variety and this was matched by the friendly service and cheerful surroundings."

"We went there on a Monday on our way from Salzburg to Steyr and were dissapointed that it was closed. As luck would have it were passed it yet again on our way to the Salt mines and immediately decided to make it our lunch...stop. We Were there exactly at their opening time and the first customers to walk in. I had a Traditional Schnitzel and it was fantastic. Very business like service and must visit."
