"Tucked away in the back of a small shopping plaza not far from Sikorsky, this unassuming Osteria is dropkicking taste buds in CT. We went on a Friday night and it was not busy at all, for our wives birthday event my friend Nick and I had a great setup. To start we ordered Calamari, Meatballs, and the Brussel sprout tower. WOW! What a great start everything was fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the meatball dish over mashed polenta. Next our main course arrived after some thoughtful suggestions from our waiter. The birthday girls had a Lamb Ossobuko and Lobster Ravioli. While I enjoyed a pasta special dish with shrimp and mushrooms in a grand mariner reduction sauce, Nick had chicken napoleon with a gorgonzola sauce. All 4 dishes were simply amazing, so flavorful, Lamb was tender, pasta was fresh we skipped fancy drinks and went right for dessert! I will paste a summary of our order with prices to give you an idea. Calamari Fritti $14.00 No red pepper flakes,,, Veal Riccotta Meatballs $12.00 Creamy polenta, Pomodoro, and basil. Brussel Tower $9.00 Shaved brussel sprouts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, extra virgin olive oil, truffle white vinegar, pesto swirl and crispy warm risotto cake. Special Pasta $25.00 L’Aragosta Di Ravioli $25.00 Handmade stuffed lobster ravioli, sweet sherry pink sage reduction. Slow Braised Lamb Shank $29.00 slow braised with heirloom vegetables served over home made cavatelli Pollo $22.00 Tartuffo $8.95 Chocolate shell ice cream with vanilla nut center Tiramisu $9.00 With candle,,, Nutella Donut Holes $9.00 With candle ,,, This was a great adult night out. There is outdoor seating. I would leave kids with a sitter for this place and enjoy a night out and have a few drinks. I have also included pictures. Do not miss this spot in Italian heaven."

"I have been a customer for years and always loved this iconic restaurant. Tonight we went for dinner since it has been reopened for dining in, and the service was horrible to say the least. The waitresses were both extremely rude and the food was horrible. We actually canceled one of our dinners which was a simple chicken Parm dinner after we were told there was no eggplant, because it took extra long and the rest of the table ate after waiting for our dinners for almost an hour, and we were literally the only table in the restaurant. They didn't even have eggplant for eggplant. Parm, which I found to be bazaar, but putting a side, the terrible food the service really was horrible like I said, and I will sadly never go there again which makes me sad because I truly loved this iconic Place"

"I've never actually eaten here, but the place is always packed, so the food must be great! Waiters and waitresses appear attentive and friendly! Sometimes they have live music, too. "I have always enjoyed coming to this place for salads, soups and specially their wraps! They are one of a kind and the variety of food is amazing. Their wraps are very filling and it?s truly hard to decide which one to have as they are all so tasty. One of the parts that I enjoy the most about this place is the Rock style to it, music and that they have live music! Super highly recommended! Years ago, I would order here and just take it to eat it at the beach. Good times! Good memories from this place."
