I went to this restaurant for lunch and it was terrible. I only ordered fish and chips, which was far from a gourmet meal. The chips were like scraps, the mushy peas were cold, and the fish was just okay. The only good thing was the wine. View all feedback.
Rude sarcastic older blonde waitress, completely ruined the atmosphere at our table with her inappropriate comments. A shame as the other members of the team were friendly and a credit to the pub

Ate there twice, Saturday lunch and Thursday evening. Both times had lovely food with attentive service. Made very welcome despite odd drink request which was dealt with humorously. Wish I lived nearer.
Lovely pub quaint and quirky with plenty of atmosphere. The food was very good and was equally matched by the excellent friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu as well as having a gluten free menu. It is not cheap but we do not mind paying if we get good quality food which we did
