We had a big table booking for Sunday lunch and the table Service was helpful and attentive from not one but two staff for whom no request seemed too much trouble! The food was terrific. If you love a traditional English Roast this is the place .Perfectly cooked Meat and plenty of it ,extra gravy and sauces. What NIKKI S doesn't like about Red Lion:
Very disappointed, only 2 pubs in the village and there is definitely room for both, if they “upped their game”. Pub was empty even though the rugby was on(other pub was still full). Lamb and chicken curry was hot but sauce tasted like it was out of a packet. We couldn’t eat all our meal and left only after 40mins, on leaving there was only 2 customers in the pub and it was only 8.15! View all feedback.
