What User doesn't like about The Bell At Alderminster:
Have eaten at the Bell a number of times, this perhaps the least satisfying perhaps influenced by that fact it closes in mid September to be taken over by another company, reopening Feb 2020 (I believe it will be owned by Brunning Price). The food this time was not as good as previously, vege burger option was dry and overcooked, my fish n chips pretty good. Drinks up to usual standard, but service not so a bit soull... We have enjoyed the ambiance of The Bell over many years and it has always maintained the highest standards. Sorry to say Farewell to the current management but looking forward to the next incarnation.
We would definitely recommend the Bell at Alderminster as it is now,but we understand it is being taken over in a week or two by a chain of pubs so are unlikely to go again.
Great food good ambiance and lovely staff. A great find.
