This is important: if your prices cause the bill to be $50 per person, you expect it to be a great meal It wasn't that great though.

Fantastic steakhouse! I highly recommend the tomahawk steak! We shared it with three people and didn't finish everything.

"Delicious food, friendly service was a bit leisurely but we were in no hurry. I'm very impressed by the small but interesting wine list. Everyone at our table had a great meal, plus on a Friday we were able to walk right in and sit at the very comfortable window table."

"We booked our table well in advance, yet we were seated at a table in the farthest corner for a 2 person table, against a wall/window, with minimal privacy, despite an entire other section being available/empty for optional seating(s) and quieter dining; We were offered warm tap water no ice, etc., and subsequently, we were passed by twice at later time w/o being offered tap water at all, despite needing refill(s); Chairs were very uncomfortable; We asked (politely) AFTER appetizer course to change one dessert originally ordered at start of meal, and waiter seemed rather reluctant to do so even though patrons at a table near us didn 't order their dessert(s) until AFTER entrees had been completed (which makes much more sense); We were offered bread with our meal which we accepted (but there was NO mention of the add 'l 5.00 cost added) Unthinkable that bread would not be included with a 2 person meal 180.00 plus re drinks/, supplementary costs, taxes and tip! Not an experience we expected, and certainly did not live up to the reviews we read on line unfortunately!"

"Saw "blue-cod" on the menu and asked about it, since I hadn't heard about it. Was told that it is "very similar to pollock" (with a smile from the waitress). Since only 1,300 tons are caught every year and only in New Zealand shallow waters, I suspect it was pollock. Was askd whether I wanted "regular" batter or a "thin" batter. I ordered regular and was shocked to get two fillets that were 90% batter/10% fish. In addition, the batter was fairly mushy, indicating that the oil wasn't at a high enough temperature. Slow service, warm fries, left waitng to pay. Overall, for me, a very poor experience. Probably the worst fish and chips I have had in my life.....and believe me, I have had many...some in great places and some in average places. Only reason it got two stars instead of one is that the waitress did well trying to look after my grandkids."

"We have been coming to the Erie Drive In for over 40 years. The soft ice cream is so creamy. Thwre is always a number of people waiting for food and others sitting at picnic tables enjoying hot dogs, hamburgers, sundaes, soft ice cream cones or milk shake. My favourite is rhe zebra cone. The orice difference between a small cone a large cone is so small that ordering a large cone is a no brainer. The Erie is a landmark in Stratford. A must stop at drive in"

"The staff is great, eating is good and much at the price. Remember only if they order the breakfast they want to jam and drip butter, because the staff here do not float over their table, let them eat in peace, so if they need something, they must get their attention. I try to eat here at least once a month."
