Enjoyed a very good breakfast the Perth County Special two eggs, toast, protein (ham, sausage or bacon) and homefries which were all excellent.

"Delicious food, friendly service was a bit leisurely but we were in no hurry. I'm very impressed by the small but interesting wine list. Everyone at our table had a great meal, plus on a Friday we were able to walk right in and sit at the very comfortable window table."

"We booked our table well in advance, yet we were seated at a table in the farthest corner for a 2 person table, against a wall/window, with minimal privacy, despite an entire other section being available/empty for optional seating(s) and quieter dining; We were offered warm tap water no ice, etc., and subsequently, we were passed by twice at later time w/o being offered tap water at all, despite needing refill(s); Chairs were very uncomfortable; We asked (politely) AFTER appetizer course to change one dessert originally ordered at start of meal, and waiter seemed rather reluctant to do so even though patrons at a table near us didn 't order their dessert(s) until AFTER entrees had been completed (which makes much more sense); We were offered bread with our meal which we accepted (but there was NO mention of the add 'l 5.00 cost added) Unthinkable that bread would not be included with a 2 person meal 180.00 plus re drinks/, supplementary costs, taxes and tip! Not an experience we expected, and certainly did not live up to the reviews we read on line unfortunately!"

"Fish and chips (dedicated fryer) The food was great. Service was good and friendly! Separate GF menu, that was clear and had a lot of choice. Has an upright freezer for freezing to take home gluten-free meals and bakes. Recommend this place!"

"We have been coming to the Erie Drive In for over 40 years. The soft ice cream is so creamy. Thwre is always a number of people waiting for food and others sitting at picnic tables enjoying hot dogs, hamburgers, sundaes, soft ice cream cones or milk shake. My favourite is rhe zebra cone. The orice difference between a small cone a large cone is so small that ordering a large cone is a no brainer. The Erie is a landmark in Stratford. A must stop at drive in"

"We had a splendid day at The Bruce Hotel for Mothers Day Brunch. It started with a warm greeting at the front entrance by a young gentleman manning the doors. Very welcoming. We were seated promptly for we did make a reservation well in advance which I would advise. We had nice white linens and an eloquently decorated table for four. Our service was ideal for buffet-style. We didn't want for anything or had to wait for beverage service. The buffet was as I would describe as a classy-buffet experience. There was the traditional breakfast combined with seafood and prime rib with multiple sides of salads, options of cheese and bakery bread items. This was Corroborated with chef ready to make egg options. We did not experience lineups at any of the buffet tables and we attended at prime time. We would absolutely attend for a buffet again. We have attended for other specials occasions in their dining room and also enjoyed that experience."
