"Saw "blue-cod" on the menu and asked about it, since I hadn't heard about it. Was told that it is "very similar to pollock" (with a smile from the waitress). Since only 1,300 tons are caught every year and only in New Zealand shallow waters, I suspect it was pollock. Was askd whether I wanted "regular" batter or a "thin" batter. I ordered regular and was shocked to get two fillets that were 90% batter/10% fish. In addition, the batter was fairly mushy, indicating that the oil wasn't at a high enough temperature. Slow service, warm fries, left waitng to pay. Overall, for me, a very poor experience. Probably the worst fish and chips I have had in my life.....and believe me, I have had many...some in great places and some in average places. Only reason it got two stars instead of one is that the waitress did well trying to look after my grandkids."

"The staff is great, eating is good and much at the price. Remember only if they order the breakfast they want to jam and drip butter, because the staff here do not float over their table, let them eat in peace, so if they need something, they must get their attention. I try to eat here at least once a month."

"It was nice to get inside a restaurant again, something that has been impossible in Toronto for several months now. Pazzo is a favourite of ours: very good Italian food in very agreeable surroundings. The service is very good; the prices are reasonable. My wife...and I shared a kale salad and a Pizza Zsa Zsa Gabor; I also had the soup of the day. Our sons had the crostini and regular mains. Everybody was satisfied."

"Went for dinner tonight and we were disgusted when my wife found a long, dark hair in the 1st bite of her hot beef sandwich. I understand these things can happen, but you would think the manager or kitchen manager would come out to apologize. This did not happen. Instead, they had the waitress come and ask if we wanted something else instead ans said not to worry, we will take it off your bill. WOW that 's great you are taking the contaminated food that was inedible off our bill...gee thanks.Being in the food industry myself for the better part of 34 years, I would be embarrassed as a manager if this was my restaurant. At the least I would have written off the appetizer ordered along with coming out myself to apologize. Maybe my wife should have made a big production of it and made sure all the customers knew, rather than quietly showing our waitress Roxanne, who did a fabulous job. We will not be back!!!!! Disgusted"
